Here’s my tribute to teen love:

*SERIOUSLY, those of you with cardiac problems beware of these pictures. Don’t say I didn’t warn you…

Also, I won’t  to be bound by the unwritten rule that these girls are the Wives or girlfriends, but rather that these women are or have been… The wives or girlfriends of anybody who likes football! And, at least for the beginning, I also plan to introduce you my friends to the wonderful world of Latin women which I’m sure many of you won’t want to leave.

But enough of talking, after all this blog wasn’t made for that, so I now present our first guest, Colombian model and TV anchor Carolina Cruz wearing a torn version of our NT Jersey and then… less.

At what point do her friends hold an invervention for her? Sure it all fun and paparazzi now, but this is how it starts. First it’s EPL, then you’re dating guys in the Championship, then the SPL, then the IFA. Before you know it, you’re hanging out with a bag of orange slices at Valley Ridge field number 2 waiting for a guy with a knee brace to sub out.

Fun bonus fact: Danielle participated in a BBC quiz called Test The Nation. When asked who Winston Churchill was, she replied: “Wasn’t he the first black president of America? There’s a statue of him near me – that’s black.”

Before I leave you for the time being I want to post a picture of Natalie Gulbis, I know I know she’s not a WAG or anything but by god what a body!

As far as I know she is no relation of Internazionale & Sheffield Wednesday legend Benito. The fact that she is Argentinian adds credence to this belief.

This is her protesting outside the Japanese Embassy, apparently she is against whaling, claiming that ‘the only skin I wear is my own.’ She just happens to be made of leather.

Ahh, what a lovely girl

Daniela is a 29 year old professional Brazilian model who loves nothing better than relaxing with a quality magazine (possibly Irelands Own) and a comfy thong on her bed. Also she is a brunette. At this point it has probably become clear that I know very little about her

Behold Giorgia Palmas, former runner up in the Miss World Pageant and apple of Bologna’s Davide Bombardini eyes. On Striscia, which is presumably an Italian TV show, Giorgia plays a ‘Velina’ – a bimbo-like character who performs short dance breaks in skimpy outfits. It sounds good.

As all the people who have been to the boot-shaped country know, all Italian women in their twenties look like this. This is a common problem for me too; just out for a walk, minding my own business, thinking about which flavour ice-cream to buy, (mint choc chip), when a rogue gust of wind blows my top off. The results are quite so well received however, there is a lot more hair involved, and no rogue words flying about to cover my shame.

Maria Mazza

A Roma wag no longer, Maria Mazza is the ex-flame of Il Capitano, Francesco Totti. She is a very popular model and TV presenter on Italian TV (I wonder why), and once appeared on a popular Italia show bouncing around on a space hopper.

Rosario Cannavo

Current sentimental partner of angry old Christian Panucci -Rosaria is a 26-year-old model and TV personality from Catania, and her skills do not stop at pretending to surf – she is a trained ballerina as well.

She also recently took part in the reality show “Uno, Due, Tre..Stalla“, which translates to “One, Two, Three…Stall“. It’s anyone’s guess what this show, or indeed any other Italian show is about.

Loredana Lecciso

Ex flame of Christian Panucci, who admittedly certainly can pick them, Loredana Lecciso (born 26 August 1972) is yet another star of Italian television. She was also a journalist for the Italian TV show La vita in diretta.

Tamara Pisnoli

Wife of midfield general Daniele de Rossi, Tamara Pisnoli is the exception to the rule that to be an Italian WAG you must pose for risque calendars, perform as ’showgirls’ on TV end eventually get boffed by Pippo Inzaghi. Tamara De Rossi, however, is the sexy exception to the rule. I think all the photographers are afraid of receiving a beating from Daniele if they even suggested her to show more flesh.

And Finally Ilary Blasi

Of course she’s here! Wife of Francesco Totti, 28 year old Blasi is a showgirl and model. She is a UNICEF goodwill ambassador. She presents some comedy show on Italian TV that once managed to dupe Italy’s lower house of Parliament into taking drug tests. From the surreptitiously-obtained swabs they discovered that over a third of the politicians had taken cocaine or cannabis in the previous 36 hours. Unsurprisingly, the show never aired.

I first ‘discovered’ Ilary back at Euro 2004, when she made the 0-0 draw between Italy and Denmark strangely watchable, and I have been an advocate of her talents ever since.

By the way I’m Paddy, I’ll be helping Kevin find the most beautiful women, with even the smallest possible link to football on the internet. Its a hard job but someone has to do it. I also blog over at the Depor Blog now and again.

The 26-year-old blonde now visits the hairdresser only twice a week, and has resorted to filing her own nails. “I’m not that bothered about pampering. I do my nails myself. The nail varnish I’m wearing was only £2 from a bargain bin!”

She also prefers nights in at the couple’s multi-million pound Merseyside home to expensive nights out. “I used to be such a party girl but now I know that if I have a big night out I’ll sleep late the next day and will probably eat junk food. I’ve turned down a few nights out already.”
Curran confided to readers of Closer magazine that she is also “too busy to shop” because she spends so much time working out.

Filing her own nails? Skipping nights out on the town? Eating fast food? Not shopping?!?! truly the world as we know it is coming to an end. Let hope dear Alex can still find the resources to hang out in a bikini all day. From what I can tell by a quick google image search it seems to be her only hobby.
