Crash Bang Wallop, its a Lovely Girl!

By: Paddy | March 14th, 2009

Behold Giorgia Palmas, former runner up in the Miss World Pageant and apple of Bologna’s Davide Bombardini eyes. On Striscia, which is presumably an Italian TV show, Giorgia plays a ‘Velina’ – a bimbo-like character who performs short dance breaks in skimpy outfits. It sounds good.

As all the people who have been to the boot-shaped country know, all Italian women in their twenties look like this. This is a common problem for me too; just out for a walk, minding my own business, thinking about which flavour ice-cream to buy, (mint choc chip), when a rogue gust of wind blows my top off. The results are quite so well received however, there is a lot more hair involved, and no rogue words flying about to cover my shame.

It’s unfortunate for her that she has to walk around with The Offside written across her Bristols.

Good for us I guess, though.
